Sara Stopulos

Sara Stopulos joined Innovative Captive Strategies (ICS) in2014. As Assistant Vice President, Stopulos is responsible for growth and strategy of ICS Employee Benefits group captives. With over 18 years of Employee Benefits experience, she specializes in self-insurance, wellness, cost, and risk management.

Stopulos uses her expertise to provide captive owners with a way to finance medical costs and manage their population health risk to reduce claim costs and retain underwriting profits which ultimately leads to greater stability and predictability for their business.

A graduate of the University of Iowa, Stopulos earned her B.A. in Health Promotion. In 2015, she obtained her Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from Des Moines University. Stopulos is licensed in Life and Health Insurance and holds her Group Benefit Associate (GBA) designation. Outside of work, Stopulos enjoys spending time with her husband, Ted and son, Gus.
