Matt Appenzeller
Matt Appenzeller is the President and CEO of the Southern Ohio Chamber Alliance; an alliance of 129 Chambers of Commerce that offers health insurance and other programs to employers through their local Chambers of Commerce. In 2016, he helped launch the SOCA Benefit Plan administered by Anthem. The Plan is now the largest Multiple Employer Welfare Arrangement in the United States, providing coverage to more than 7,500 employers and 53,000 employees. He previously served as the Executive Director of the Preble County Chamber of Commerce where he led the creation of the Preble County Development Partnership for workforce and economic development. He was named Preble County Community Leader of the Year in 2012. He is a Past President of the Board of Trustees for the Ohio Business Week; a business and entrepreneur camp for high school students at the Ohio University College of Business. In addition to more than 20 years of sales and management experience, he served 7 years in the U.S. Army. He and his wife, Lauren, reside in Cincinnati. Connect with Matt on LinkedIn!
